Bugatti scale models: Veyron, Chiron and EB110 in miniature
Bugatti represents the absolute pinnacle of the automotive industry. That makes the brand particularly popular among scale model collectors too. But the choice of manufacturers is wide: from affordable resin models to extraordinarily detailed handmade pieces. Who makes the best Bugatti and which are worth the most?
The Bugatti Veyron in scale
The Veyron is the most widely modelled modern Bugatti. AUTOart produced an excellent 1:18 version that has been considered the benchmark for years. The Super Sport and Sang Noir variants are the most popular among collectors. Sold-out colour options (in particular the collaborations with Hermès and Linea Vincero) are scarce and command high prices.
The Bugatti Chiron and Divo
For the Chiron there are models from Bburago (affordable, €30 to €50), AUTOart and GT Spirit (both in the €150 to €300 range). MR Models released an exceptionally detailed 1:18 Chiron Sport in a limited edition, with prices that now exceed the original retail price.
The classic EB110: rare and valuable
The Bugatti EB110 is one of the rarest Bugattis in real life and in scale. Minichamps made versions in 1:43 and 1:18, which are now difficult to find. Anyone with an EB110 in good condition with its box can expect an above-average price.
